Hi there! My name is Ruby—also known as Ruby Roo 🐾

I’ve been told I’m one of the sweetest, softest, and most cuddly girls you’ll ever meet! At around a year old, I still have a fun, playful spirit, but I’m not over-the-top about it. I’m learning my manners—things like not counter surfing, begging, or jumping on people—and I’m getting better every day.

I absolutely love other dogs and would be so happy to have a canine sibling (or two!). I’m also curious about cats and like them, but they don’t always appreciate my enthusiasm—I might be a bit too playful for them.

I enjoy meeting new people, though I may need a few minutes to settle in before I’m ready to relax and cuddle. Once I’m comfortable, I’ll happily stick by your side and soak up all the pets and attention you can give!

I’m potty trained and crate trained, and I do well relaxing in my crate while my humans are away—especially since I’m still young and sometimes forget what’s okay to chew. I love squeaky toys and my Nylabone, and I’ll never turn down a cozy spot on the couch. So far, the “hoomans” haven’t been able to convince me that I shouldn’t be on the furniture.

I’d be thrilled to have a sibling (or more than one), but I’d probably be okay as your one-and-only pup, as long as you don’t mind a loyal shadow following you around. I do get a little queasy on car rides right now, but a bit of medication helps keep my tummy settled.

I’ll be ready to join my forever family after April 24th—and I can’t wait to meet you! 💕
