Meet Petunia (aka “Tunie”)!
Petunia is an 8-year-young Basset Hound with a heart full of love and a playful, happy spirit. She came to the rescue as a stray, so we don’t know much about her early life, but we do know that she’s overcome a few medical issues along the way and is now feeling great and ready for her forever home.
Petunia is looking for someone to spend as much time with as possible. She gets along well with people, dogs, and cats—though she may be a little shy with men at first. Once she warms up, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through.
This charming girl loves car rides, playing with toys, zooming around the yard, and even chatting with the neighbor dogs. She also considers herself a “kitchen helper,” so gentle reminders that counters are off-limits may be needed from time to time!
Petunia can be left out when you’re away, and while she is crate-trained, she’d much rather be relaxing somewhere cozy nearby.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, happy adult Basset who’s ready to cuddle, play, and be your loyal companion, Tunie is your girl! 💕
