About Stevie
Stevie is a sweet and soulful 5½-year-old female Basset Hound who’s as charming as she is lovable.
I was a little scared and confused at first, but my foster mom and foster doggie siblings showed me the ropes of what to do, and it didn’t take me long to catch on! I also have this thing called a kitty as a foster brother, but I don’t pay him much attention.
I was a really quick learner in the “outside-go potty” department, and so I am no longer confined to my crate when my foster mom goes to work.
I love, love, love to go on walk-n-sniffs with my foster siblings..so I do take some time going around the block! I love everyone (people and dogs) I meet on my walks. I am also a good watchdog letting my foster mom know when there is someone walking down the sidewalk!
I am afraid of loud noises and quick movements, so I might not be a good match with small children. I really enjoy having other dogs around for company, but I would be fine being an only child. I will warn you that I can be a bit of a Velcro dog, so I hope you won’t mind me following you everywhere!
Are you ready to share your couch with me?
