Nolan

Nolan has only been with us for a week, so we’re still learning about him. He’s 1 to 2 years old, weighs about 43 lbs, and may have a little something other than basset in his family tree. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. When he arrived, he had a slight eye infection, but the meds cleared it up. Nolan has been good with adults, teens, and multiple dogs. He’s very interested in cats – he may or may not chase them depending on how the cat acts. He’s housebroken and crate-trained, although he will whine when he’s first put in. He enjoys car rides and walks, although he pulls sometimes when he gets excited. He knows and is learning commands. He’ll get on the furniture if you let him. He’s very food-motivated, so he has to be watched, or he’ll steal his friend’s meals! If you’re looking for an active dog that wants to hang out with you, this is the guy!
