Daisy

Meet Daisy – a sweet, tri-color, love-bug Basset Hound with a heart full of love. This cuddle bug adores snuggling up on the couch and taking long naps. She’s crate trained and gets along well with other dogs. Though a bit timid at first, Daisy quickly warms up and will soon be seeking your attention and affection.

One of her favorite things is proudly parading around with a stuffed toy in her mouth — it’s adorable!

Daisy may have experienced food competition in her previous home, which has led to some food guarding behavior. To help her feel secure, she should be fed in a quiet, separate space where other dogs won’t disturb her. Free feeding is not recommended.

She is currently being treated with antibiotics for an ear and skin issue and is also on Apoquel to help with itchy skin, which is likely a reaction to her previous food. Daisy is quite skinny for her age, but her loving foster family is helping her gain weight.

Daisy is a gentle soul who needs love and a cozy place to call home.
